Husqvarna Group is now seeking a Manager, Customs and Trade Compliance to lead and further develop our customs and trade compliance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant customs processes. You will act as a key partner to internal stakeholders, customs authorities, and external partners, supporting both operational excellence and strategic initiatives. 

About the role 

Are you passionate about customs, trade compliance, and leadership in a global environment? Husqvarna Group is looking for a Manager Customs and Trade Compliance who will take ownership of day-to-day compliance operations while also driving long-term improvements and harmonization of working methods. You will lead and develop the customs and compliance team and play a central role in ensuring regulatory compliance across the organization. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Overall responsibility for the Customs & Trade Compliance function, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant customs and trade operations. 
  • Lead, develop, and coach the customs and compliance team, building strong competence, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.  
  • Ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations, internal policies, and trade compliance best practices, including HTC, duties, and FTAs.  
  • Drive the development and improvement of customs processes, working methods, and supporting systems.  
  • Act as a key business partner to internal stakeholders, customs authorities, and external partners, supporting strategic initiatives and regulatory communication. 

What we’re looking for 

  • Several years of experience in customs and trade compliance and from a managerial or leadership role. 
  • Strong knowledge of global customs regulations, HTS classification, duty management, and trade compliance best practices.  
  • Strong leadership and people’s development skills.  
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.  
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.  
  • Fluency in English and Swedish.
